Papers of St. Paul's Episcopal Church [manuscript], 1848-1993.

Records consist of the vestry minutes, 1867-1993; communicant/cash book, 1859-1867, of St. Paul's, Buck Mountain and Emmanuel churches; extracts of baptisms, burials, confirmations, marriages, and parochial lists from the register, 1848-1946; and correspondence and papers of St. Paul's and Emmanuel churches, 1854-1886. The collection also includes correspondence, legal deeds and contracts, surveys and plats, and other papers concerning the 1963 purchase of the adjacent Lewis propery. In addition the collection contains a sermon of Frederick W . Neve, and miscellaneous items pertaining to his ministry in England and Virginia.
